Imbambala Wilderness Trails

The Imbambala Wilderness Trails Camp is situated in a secluded area within the Loskop Nature Reserve, Middelburg and is a 2 hour drive from Johannesburg International Airport. Access to the camp is via a scenic 30 minute boat ride from which various game species and aquatic life can be viewed. Daily safe game viewing walks are provided ensuring close encounters with wildlife as diverse as the majestic White Rhino to the mystical Sable Antelope and Kudu, while still being informative and educational. Learn about the abundance of fauna and flora, on the walks and their different uses.


Visits to Archaeological and other interesting sites by 4x4 vehicle are also provided for interested parties.
With more than 300 bird species, ornithologists will experience sightings and the calls of a large variety which could include the White Breasted Cormorant and the African Fish Eagle.
Enjoy memorable evenings around the campfire, whilst sipping a sundowner from the bar, discussing the various species observed under a crystal clear sky, free from pollution.
